I've enjoyed the best January in Cartagena. An excellent combination of active, touristy days and being a sloth in my excellent apartment.
Roland and I agreed that after a busy week we were ready for a rest. We started this "sea day" with a walk on the beach. Then we walked over to a new-to-me grocery store. I'd been to a smaller Olympica in the Old City. This one, next to the Ara grocery store I've been in going to, was large, modern and well-stocked. So far, my favorite store. Bonus that I can get a $5 rotisserie chicken at Ara.
The rest of the day involved trying more fruit, lounging by the pool (Roland) and getting a massage (me). Not a great day for photos but a wonderful Saturday.
Tonight, we've decided to order delivery from Rappi. Tacos from Enchilarte and pizza from La Sorrelle. Life in Bocagrande couldn't get much better.
Here are a few photos.

When the wind is calm the water is blue. When the wind gets stronger, the water turns a bit brown. |

I'm still not tired of this view. |

Roland by the pool. I am not a stalker. |

I was reading on the balcony and watching this couple. They seemed to be having the best time with their kids. Making memories. |
