Recent Photos at School in Mandalay

I enjoyed my career as a management consultant.  But I love teaching first grade.  The money is vastly different, but the day to day work is so satisfying.  Even on days when a lesson doesn't work or the kids are on the wild side.  These are photos from Social Studies yesterday.  We are studying world cultures and started with Samoa.  The kids were making candy ulas.  It may look calm and quiet but let me assure, it was nuts.  If I had heard "Teacher Nancy" yelled one more time, I might have jumped out the window.  But really, how can you not love those smiles?
