First, I apologize for any typos. My keyboard continues to get worse, so I'm typing partly on the keyboard and partly on the screen. It also slows me down, so posts may be brief.
The big event of the day was a late lunch with my first cousin, once removed. Or, my first cousin's daughter. The last time I saw her, she was jumping up and down on my belly. Now, she has a daughter in college. We've been Facebook friends for some time and it is just a coincidence that we are in Cartagena at the same time.
She and her partner Mark came to meet up for lunch straight from the airport after a 20 hour trip from Ecuador, where they live. It was great to catch up and talk about travel and life. Thanks for lunch, Landy and Mark, and for taking the time to come visit. Lunch is on me next time...perhaps in Buenos Aires?
