Photos of Ushuaia and the Southern Coast of Chile

Sunset at sea at about 10:30 p.m.

Whale watching while getting a pedicure.

I was enjoying the lovely weather on the top deck when I saw this tour boat circling the ship.  I waved, they waved.  Good times while I sipped a caramel latte.

Downtown Puerto Montt.  Gateway to great fishing and beautiful lakes but I wasn't willing to pay $400 to travel for hours to just fish for one hour.
A large mall in Puerto Montt.  Seeing the Golden Arches did not inspire me to get off.

An advantage to staying on the ship in port is that I had the place to myself.

I heard there are over 800 passengers on board who are either 4 Star Mariners or above.  They had a wine tasting event for us in the Crow's Next yesterday.  Invitation only, I assume they'll be having several to accommodate everyone.  Cruise Specialists, who I booked with, also hosted dinner at the Canaletto last night with free wine.  Any day with free wine and at sea is a good day, in my book.

The view from my cabin this morning.  These guys were gassing up the ship in San Antonio.  I'd hate to see that bill.

HAL now seems to consistently dock in freighter docks, rather than cruise docks, which means lining up for bsses to get out of the port.

Punta Arenas.  I didn't get off there, either.  I'm all about the sea days.
